The very premise of scientology, that all pain should be removed or its power diminished, flies in the face of every athlete's experience. Athletes don't just engulf themselves in pain, they dominate in the face of pain and let the experience evolve them. Psychological and emotional pain are no different. They can evolve us if we are willing to work through the experience to dominate whatever that pain may be in order to truly rule our emotions. I find it strange that when asked this question, his sole focus was on sex. I’m going to give my opinion, but I’m not going to spend twenty minutes researching chapter and verse for all you people who say “chapter and verse please” you own a Bible, you look it up. In revelation it says we will receive a glorified body and will be returned to the earth during the millennial reign. The Bible says a person can only die once. That obviously means that in our resurrected bodies we can not die. This in turn means nothing can harm us. We could stand outside in zero degree weather wearing shorts, Tshirt and flip flops and the cold will not bother us. We could go scuba diving without scuba gear and we will not drown. We could go 100 years without eating and we won’t feel hungry. We could be stabbed with a sword and no harm would be done. We will rule and reign with Christ which is in Matthew mark luke and revelation. This means during the millennial reign we will occupy all positions of power and authority. “I will put you in charge of ten cities” which I think is in Matthew.

I have a family member trying to convert me into JW. I was saved around 8 months ago and I’ve been to their churches many times. I really wanted to believe this because it’s what most of my family believes. Everyone was very nice and I got nothing but smiles and greetings. But something felt, off, I believe the Holy Spirit was tugging me. I have a solid copy of the NWT and just go on their watchtower website and compared it to my ESV that a friend gave me (THE ESV IS MY BIBLE) I started noticing that Christ CLAIMED TO BE GOD. Even if I didn’t want to believe it because my family believes otherwise. The beliefs of the JW’s, even in comparison to their own translation, have nothing but contradictions. You can prove the deity of Christ using solely the NWT. I’m studying everything I can and getting myself ready to evangelize. Please pray for me. ❤

Now what would knowing really prove? They could have the highest credentials in the world and you still wouldn’t accept the NWT. Best way to prove the NWT is a bad translation is by attacking the NWT. The attempt to use their qualification status as a means to discredit displays a weakness in one’s own argument against the NWT.

It always says Translations , I have been informed that the suspected reason for this is because it has been "altered" so much to suit their man made ideas and agendas ,that legally they cannot actually call it a Bible !!!
